HAPPY CHRISTMAS BREAK!
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday, January 6th! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
All district sites are currently being affected by the AT&T outage. We are without phones and internet at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
SPRING CALENDAR CHANGE
We have adjusted the school calendar for the spring semester. Parent-teacher conferences will occur on Monday, March 10th, from 3:15-7:00, and Tuesday, March 11th, from 3:15-5:30. Parent-teacher conference day off will be observed on Friday, March 14th, instead of April 11th.
The day off on Friday, April 4th, was moved to the originally scheduled day off for parent-teacher conferences on April 11th.
This move was made to better accommodate the timing of parent-teacher conferences. We want to provide as much notice as possible regarding this change.
JUNIOR HIGH VIRTUAL DAY (JUNIOR HIGH ONLY)
Due to widespread illness, PVJH will have online learning tomorrow - Friday, December 13th.
During the school day, teachers will be available by email, Rooms, or Google Classroom, and students can access the school building for any materials they may need.
Stay Safe!
Sylogist will be down for updates from November 27th through December 2nd at 6 am. Guardians will be unable to check grades or pay lunch bills online during this time. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please check our school's website for the updated link to log back into Sylogist on December 2nd.
Just a friendly reminder that Pauls Valley Public Schools will dismiss early tomorrow, Friday, November 22nd.
Pauls Valley Elementary will begin dismissal at 12:45 PM.
Pauls Valley Intermediate, Junior High, and High School will dismiss at 1:00 PM.
We will be out of school for Thanksgiving Break from November 25th to 29th. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, December 2nd!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂
The Donald W. Reynolds Recreation Center's after-school program will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday. Due to early dismissal, this program will NOT have a bus route on Friday. If your student usually rides the bus to the Rec Center after school, please contact their school site to make alternative arrangements.
Due to the lengthy drive for Friday's state quarter-final football playoff game at Lincoln Christian and to account for the complications of Tulsa rush hour traffic, Pauls Valley Schools will release students early on Friday. Buses will begin their routes at Pauls Valley Elementary at 12:45 PM, and the Intermediate, Junior High and High School will dismiss at 1:00 PM.
Thank you for your understanding, and good luck to the Panthers on Friday night!
Out of an abundance of caution due to the forecast of potential for damaging winds and tornadoes during our commute times, Pauls Valley Schools will be delaying the start of school until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, November 18th. Student safety is our top priority, and we want to avoid putting students on buses or student drivers in dangerous situations that can be avoided.
Buses will run two hours late. We will continue to monitor weather conditions in the morning to determine if any additional adjustments to bus route schedules may be necessary. Any changes will be sent out as soon as possible.
Please stay weather-aware!
Power has been restored to all sites. After the power initially came back on, we experienced a short intermittent outage, but it seems to be working well now.
Pauls Valley Intermediate and Pauls Valley High School are experiencing a power outage. This will also impact their phone systems. The outage has been reported, and we will provide updates when we have information on an estimated restoration time.
In collaboration with the National Weather Service and the administrations of Purcell and Pauls Valley, our football game has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, November 7) at 7:00 PM at Purcell. This change was made due to the increasing likelihood of severe weather on Friday evening that would affect the safety of our students and fans and the timing of the event. Our goal is to provide the best possible circumstances for all individuals involved in the event.
We hope you can join us in cheering on the Panthers as they play for a playoff spot tomorrow night in Purcell.
Our staff is monitoring all weather info for PV. We are in contact with Garvin County Emergency Management, & the safety of our students/staff is our priority. We cannot check students out once we are in a warning that requires them to take shelter. We will NOT dismiss for lunch or the end of the day if it is unsafe.

LARGE SCHOOL GRAND CHAMPION
Yesterday, the Pride of the Valley traveled to the Oklahoma State Fair to participate in the annual parade contest. For the 9th consecutive year, the Pride brought home Large School Grand Champion honors.
In addition, they won first place in Class 4A Band, Drumline, and Drum Major, as well as overall Drumline, out of the 64 competing schools.
Pauls Valley Band Director Travis Heathcote acknowledged the maximum effort and immense amounts of personal time students have devoted to early morning rehearsals and after-school and evening student-led sectionals to represent Pauls Valley at the highest level at venues across the state.
Congratulations to Mr. Hathcote, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Long, and the Pride of the Valley members!
