Friday, December 20, is “Night Before Christmas Day” at PV Elementary. Wear school-appropriate Christmas pajamas. Parents, please do not sent your child to school in soft sole house shoes.

Thursday, December 19, is Santa’s Workshop Day at PV Elementary. Dress up as a reindeer, an elf, or Santa himself!

Wednesday, December 18, is Grinch Day at PV Elementary. Wear your greenest clothes, dress up as your favorite Whoville character, or even come as the Grinch himself!
Tuesday, December 17, is Jingle All the Way Day at PV Elementary. Wear your festive Christmas accessories to school. (Bells, Lights, Sparkle, Santa Hat, Reindeer Antlers, Elf Hat or Ears)
Monday, December 16, is Cozy Christmas Day at PV Elementary. Get out your favorite flannel and wear it to school.
SPRING CALENDAR CHANGE
We have adjusted the school calendar for the spring semester. Parent-teacher conferences will occur on Monday, March 10th, from 3:15-7:00, and Tuesday, March 11th, from 3:15-5:30. Parent-teacher conference day off will be observed on Friday, March 14th, instead of April 11th.
The day off on Friday, April 4th, was moved to the originally scheduled day off for parent-teacher conferences on April 11th.
This move was made to better accommodate the timing of parent-teacher conferences. We want to provide as much notice as possible regarding this change.
Santa will be at PV Elementary on Thursday, December 12, to take pictures with students. Please have your students dressed and ready for the photo.
Sylogist will be down for updates from November 27th through December 2nd at 6 am. Guardians will be unable to check grades or pay lunch bills online during this time. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please check our school's website for the updated link to log back into Sylogist on December 2nd.
The PV Elementary kitchen staff knows how to make students and staff feel extra blessed at Thanksgiving.

Just a friendly reminder that Pauls Valley Public Schools will dismiss early tomorrow, Friday, November 22nd.
Pauls Valley Elementary will begin dismissal at 12:45 PM.
Pauls Valley Intermediate, Junior High, and High School will dismiss at 1:00 PM.
We will be out of school for Thanksgiving Break from November 25th to 29th. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, December 2nd!

The Donald W. Reynolds Recreation Center's after-school program will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday. Due to early dismissal, this program will NOT have a bus route on Friday. If your student usually rides the bus to the Rec Center after school, please contact their school site to make alternative arrangements.
**Fabulous Friday Announcement** This week for our Final Fabulous Friday, we will be offering popsicles! Please bring $1 to purchase this fun frozen treat. The money raised will go towards Christmas gifts for PVES families in need of assistance. Thank you for your support!
Due to the lengthy drive for Friday's state quarter-final football playoff game at Lincoln Christian and to account for the complications of Tulsa rush hour traffic, Pauls Valley Schools will release students early on Friday. Buses will begin their routes at Pauls Valley Elementary at 12:45 PM, and the Intermediate, Junior High and High School will dismiss at 1:00 PM.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the forecast of potential for damaging winds and tornadoes during our commute times, Pauls Valley Schools will be delaying the start of school until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, November 18th. Student safety is our top priority, and we want to avoid putting students on buses or student drivers in dangerous situations that can be avoided.
Buses will run two hours late. We will continue to monitor weather conditions in the morning to determine if any additional adjustments to bus route schedules may be necessary. Any changes will be sent out as soon as possible.
Please stay weather-aware!
We have collected several items from around the school that do not have names written on them. If you recognize any of these as belonging to your child, please reach out to the school office. With the weather growing cooler by the day, we want to ensure that everything is returned to its rightful owners as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation!

Every teacher at Pauls Valley Elementary who applied for a grant through the Pauls Valley Foundation for Academic Excellence was successful in receiving one. Some teachers received more than one grant! A total of 9 teachers submitted grant proposals, resulting in 14 grants awarded, amounting to $7,388.94 overall. This is such exciting news! Thank you to our amazing teachers for going above and beyond for their students and for their efforts in writing these grants!
