These three lucky students were entered into our Family Night drawing and won some books and goodies from the Book Fair! 📚💙

Yesterday evening, Mrs. Porter and Mrs. Bergner had the honor of attending the Champions of the Classroom Gala, hosted by Oklahoma City Thunder player Chet Holmgren! 🏀

Chet has already made a HUGE impact on our school. This summer, he generously cleared Mrs. Porter’s wishlist, providing supplies for her classroom, the 5th grade team, and even our entire school! Many of the recess balls our students enjoy were purchased by THE Chet Holmgren! 💙🧡

Last night, Chet took the time to personally connect with the teachers he supported and talk about education and how he can continue to help. His kindness and genuine support for teachers and students means so much!

PAW-Sitive office referrals! ❤️🐾

Fourth grade science students had the privilege of listening to Samantha Bratcher last week. Samantha is an aerospace engineer for NASA and a PVHS alumni. She discussed how forces and motions tie together with different aircraft. Students were able to build their own airplanes and test them, making adjustments accordingly.

PVIS Big Kahuna fundraiser kicks off today! Students will be coming home with permission slips. Students must turn in a signed permission slip before they can receive a box.
